Application Instructions& Lineage

The Champion Family Foundation membership is open to anyone who can prove bloodline to the
Champion Family.
In order to better clarify the requirement, we have linked back to provide several branches of options
for those who are related to the Champion Family. These branches are broken down into a few
categories listed here.
If at any time you are not sure, please feel free to contact us for more information and assistance.
Colonial Lines
For the United States, we have found several ancestors that came over during the 1600's. Members who
can prove relations to Champion's who came over during this time period are considered part of the
special Colonial Lines group. Qualifying ancestors include:

Those who can prove lineage to these ancestors are eligible for the Colonial Line Membership. If you have proof and evidence to
support a Champion who came over before 1800 to America, please submit that information to us for review and inclusion.
American Lines
Any descendant of a Champion who came to the US after 1800 can use the American Line for membership. This is also for those who
cannot trace ancestry, but bear the Champion last name or who has limited information, but proof of a Champion in their family.
English Lines
While most of the Champion came from England, those who can trace ancestry in England back at least 2 generations are eligible for
the English Line as well. This line is also used for member residing in the UK.
French Lines
It is believed the Champion name originated in Champagne, France. Those who can prove lineage to the French Champions are eligible
for this line. This line is also for the members of France.
Irish Lines
There are Champion in Ireland, who can also trace back their lines. Immigrants from Ireland living in the US and those living in Ireland
today would use the Irish Line.
German Lines
Ancestors being the Champion name from Germany. Open to those residing in Germany and those whose ancestors came to the US
from Germany.
There will be more lines to come in the very near future, as well as additional information on originating ancestors from each line that
can be traced.


APPLICATION & INSTRUCTIONS
Please download both the Application and Instructions for review. There are specific requirements for the application that must be met
in order to be considered. Adults and Spouses must be 18 or older. Juniors are ages 12 through 18)
You must also include copies of proof to be used as evidence. Please make photocopies and send them with your application. Certified
copies of records or certificates are not required, and we will not return any information submitted to use. These are kept on file with
your application.
Fill out the application and submit back with your application and membership fees. Checks or Money Orders only made out to
"Champion Family Foundation"
